Corvus Corax erstürmen die Temple Stage des Hellfests und entfesseln dort die ganze Kraft ihres mittelalterlich geprägten Metals. Krah, Krah!

Seit ihrer Gründung im Jahr 1989 zählen Corvus Corax zu den einflussreichsten Formationen der Mittelalter-Folkszene. Dabei bringt die Band traditionelle Instrumente zum Einsatz und baut sogar ihre eigenen Dudelsäcke. Als eine Art Gesamtkunstwerk hat sich die neunköpfige Formation einen festen Platz in den Herzen der Fans neuer mittelalterlicher Musik erobert.

Era Metallum, das fünfzehnte Album von Corvus Corax, wurde 2022 veröffentlicht und ist eine echte Liebeserklärung an den Heavy Metal. Mit ungewohnt harten Klängen hat die Band auch Fans überzeugt, die sich sonst eher nicht in dem Mikrokosmos bewegen, wo Corvus Corax typischerweise unterwegs sind.


Während die Berliner schon mit zwei Auftritten in Deutschland bei ARTE Concert zu sehen waren (auf den Festivals M'era Luna 2019 und Summer Breeze 2023), stehen sie nun zum ersten Mal in Frankreich vor den ARTE-Kameras. Es ist davon auszugehen, dass ihre Musik auch das Publikum in Clisson in ihren Bann schlagen wird.

Since their founding in 1989, Corvus Corax have been one of the most influential formations in the medieval folk scene. The band uses traditional instruments and even builds their own bagpipes. As a kind of total work of art, the nine-member formation has won a permanent place in the hearts of fans of new medieval music.

Era Metallum, Corvus Corax's fifteenth album, released in 2022, is a real love letter to heavy metal. With their unusually hard sounds, the band has also convinced fans who would otherwise not be in the microcosm where Corvus Corax typically performs.


While the Berliners have already appeared in Germany at ARTE Concert twice (at the M'era Luna 2019 and Summer Breeze 2023 festivals), they are now appearing in front of the ARTE cameras in France for the first time. It can be assumed that their music will also captivate the audience in Clisson.
