I normally use my Smart Television to view YouTube videos, as they are just so much easier to see on an 85" screen.

Starting this morning, I keep getting on my television the infamous YouTube message that the use of Advertising Blockers is not allowed. I could understand that message if I was using my computer, but on my television? I am pretty savoy doing this on a computer, but for the life of me I cannot figure out how, or even why, I would put an "ad-blocker" onto a television.

I know the board rules, so I ask this "tongue-in-cheek" but does any know how, or for what reason anyone would do it?

There was an item in the WSJ Tech report, that Alphabet Inc the company that owns Google, has been testing anti ad-blocker technology on the Google Search engine as well, in order to begin offering a premium version of Google with no ads, and the same thing with Gmail.

I wonder if Mark Zuckerman is going to be next to jump on this... thus bye-bye Free Facebook.

All of these people are going to find their users going elsewhere a lot sooner rather than later!

Just to update:

As quick as the problem started it has ended. I did not do a single thing but it no long is bugging me at all.

Must have been that crazy moon last month! <LOL>
